Alec Baldwin has decided not to let a little airplane meltdown stop him from sending out a few Tweets.
The 30 Rock star reactivated his account on the microblogging website yesterday and tweeted 'back on Twitter.'
His return tweets also included a Happy New Year wish for his followers and details on his whereabouts.
Back in business: Alec Baldwin has returned to Twitter after he shut down his account in response to his infamous American Airlines incident last month
He tweeted: Last day in Paraiso with @hilariathomas, referring to his girlfriend.

Alec Baldwin quit Twitter last month after launching a damning critique of an American Airlines flight attendant over his removal from a domestic flight to New York.
Welcome back: Baldwin posted two tweets for his followers last night
The 30 Rock star found himself grounded at LAX airport after failing to turn off his phone.
Unimpressed by the decision he immediately turned to the social media site to vent his frustration, tweeting: 'Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving,' along with the hashtag, '#nowonderamericaairisbankrupt', before adding: '#theresalwaysunited.'
Making light: Alec poked fun of the American Airlines incident last month during a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live
There was more inappropriate word play as Baldwin continued updating his status: 'Now on the 3 o'clock American flight. The flight attendants already look.....smarter.' He wrote.
TMZ reported that the star was kicked off the plane after he ?slammed? the bathroom door so loudly the captain himself was forced to intervene.
One passenger joked: 'Alec Baldwin should never be allowed to fly quite frankly. His liberal politics represent a clear and present danger to the U.S.'
Still smiling: Alec returned to work on the set of 30 Rock days after the incident
And another added: 'I was on the plane and yes Alec Baldwin was kicked off for grabbing 2 bags of peanuts and that is clearly an FAA violation. He may do time.'
Following a surge of interest in the story the Hollywood actor took evasive action by shutting down his Twitter account:
'Let's play a game called Mass Unfollowing', he wrote: 'I want to crash this acct [sic] and start again. But, tonight at 10pm, NY time, unfollow me.'
He also hit back at American Airlines during a skit on Saturday Night Live and in an article on the Huffington Post, claiming:
'American Airlines' "source", a Mr. Weiss, is a liar. I never talked on the phone.'
He added: 'I never yelled at or used inappropriate language to ANYONE on that plane.'
In a final parting shot at flight staff, Baldwin decried the 'inelegant' experience of post 9/11 air travel, complaining that: 'There are many [flight attendants] now who walk the aisles of an airplane with a whistle around their neck and a clipboard in their hands and they have made flying a Greyhound bus experience.'
The 53-year-old later apologised to his fellow passengers.
'It was never my intention to inconvenience anyone with my "issue" with a certain flight attendant,' he wrote.
